SZTE’s Faculty of Humanities and the Faculty of Medicine made it onto the top 10 list, ranking 4^th and 8^th respectively.

The editors of the list considered the number of students, of professors with an academic degree, the ration of students and professors with an academic degree, and the number of professors with MTA (Hungarian Academy of Science) titles. They also looked into the number of students whose first option when applying was their current university, the average score of those who were accepted, the number and type of language exams students had, and the number of students who had excellent rankings in different competitions during high school.
